New HSS T-Connection

The latest version of RISAConnection introduces a new connection type to the program. Called the HSS T-Connection, this connection is commonly used in trusses. It consists of a rectangular tube welded onto the face of another rectangular tube:

There are few limit states involved in this connection, but the ones that are applicable are time consuming to do by hand. RISAConnection provides a detailed output for each limit state:

HSS T Connection 02

For HSS to HSS connections, this T-Connection is just the beginning. RISA is already working on many variants of HSS to HSS connection types, with the intention of adding the full catalog into RISAConnection, making truss design simple.
