What’s New in RISABase v2.1

RISABase v2.1 is the latest in the RISABase product line, and is available as a free upgrade for all users who own RISABase v2.0. The big changes in this new version are code-related. RISA recognizes the importance of staying current with today’s fast-paced building code developments, and this release aims to address the changes in the latest AISC, ACI, and IBC codes. Below is a breakdown of the new codes included:

  • AISC 360-10 (14th Edition)
  • ACI 318-08 (Appendix D)
  • ACI 318-11 (Appendix D)
  • IBC 2009 (Load Combinations and Amendments to ACI 318-08)
  • IBC 2012 (Load Combinations and Amendments to ACI 318-11)
  • ASCE 7-10 (Load Combinations)

In addition we are pleased to announce the addition of an anchor reinforcement option, which allows you to limit anchor bolt cone breakout failures by providing additional reinforcement in the concrete.

Also, keep an eye out for future developments in baseplate design from RISA, such as circular baseplates and integration with RISA-3D and RISAFloor.
