The Column Section Type Editor can be used to edit the properties for individual section types, multiple section types, or all column section types at once. After defining your column section types in the Type Manager window, you can open the Column Section Type Editor through Column Design>Type Manager.
Clicking on the Edit Section Types icon will open the Column Section Type Editor window.

The indicated sections of the Column Section Type Editor are detailed below:
The top row of the Column Section Type Editor is the Typical row. This row can be used to change a Section Type property for all Column Section Types listed at once.
To change a property for all Section Types listed:
Type in the value you want to change the property to for all Section Types.
Press Enter on your keyboard to make the change to all Section Types.

Click the OK button to accept the changes and close out of the Column Section Type Editor window.
Each row in this portion of the Column Section Type Editor corresponds to a Section Type created in the Section Type Manager. All properties in each row are editable within this window. Properties that do not have a value assigned in a particular Section Type row are not applicable to that Section Type and cannot be edited.
If the Automatically update design section name option is checked, the name of a Section Type will be automatically updated if the A or B property of that Section Type is changed. If this option is unchecked, the name of the Section Type will not be updated automatically.
