Importing RISA-2D (v4.0 and Newer)
RISA-2D models can only be imported if they are from version 4.0 or higher and are imported into the 3D XY plane. "PIN" member releases are converted to "BENPIN" in RISA-3D. If the 2D members are not assigned a database shape, the torsional stiffness, J, is set to '1'. The out of plane translational degree of freedom (Z), and the out of plane rotational degrees of freedom (2y and 2x), are fixed in the 3D model for all joints.
