Units

The Units dialog allows the user to set the units designation for the project. You can work with Imperial units (Kips, inches, etc.) or Metric units (KN, meters, etc.), or any combination of the two. To access this dialog, simply click the Units button from the Home menu on the ribbon toolbar.

Note:

• Units can be changed at any time during modeling and the current units will be converted to the new units.
• Once units are set to the desired value, click the Save As Defaults button to make these units the default settings for any new models.
